Psalm 80

My heart breaks to say that the good news in Cote d'Ivoire was short lived.

The war in Abidjan continues and the UN does nothing.

My heart breaks for the people living in Abidjan amid this crisis. Those of us in the north continue with life normally. We are safe and secure, but I wish it was the same for those in Abidjan. The only thing to do in such a time as this is to pray.

"Hear us, O Shepherd of Israel,
you who lead Joseph like a flock;
you who sit enthroned between the
cherubim, shine forth
before Ephraim, Benjamin, and Manasseh.

Awaken you might;
come and save us.

Restore us, O God;
Make your face shine upon us,
that we may be saved."

We are so insolated here for the unrest around you every day. You are in our prayers.

Had a great weekend with our pastoral candidate. They are really into MISSIONS! You will love his wife. She's like me!
